God called Apostle Jones into the ministry in 1968, because of his faithfulness; he was ordained an elder in 1971. Following God’s direction, he founded the Truevine Holy Temple currently located in Dallas, Texas. Through his leadership, Truevine has grown and helped lay the spiritual foundation in lives of many. He united with the Full Gospel Pentecostal Association and over the course of sixteen years held several offices and positions. These included State Evangelist, District Evangelist, State Overseer, Regional Overseer and then being consummated as a Bishop. As a Regional Bishop within the Full Gospel Pentecostal Association he presided over the Southern region, overseeing churches and providing pastoral support and leadership.

Again, following God’s direction, he founded the Full Gospel New Life Association in 1994. July 2012 marked another milestone in the life of James Ardis Winans-Jones as he was elevated and affirmed to the position of Chief apostle of the Full Gospel New Life Association. He currently serves as the both Chief Apostle and Presiding Prelate over this international ministry.

Under his leadership the Full Gospel New Life Association has grown. Apostle Jones’ vision for the association is upon Kingdom building, soul winning, and reconciling the lost back to God. His desire is to see people from all walks of life come into the knowledge and spiritual freedom found only in Jesus Christ. His anointed teaching and preaching style teaches the principles of how to walk with God and to have victorious living in him.

Apostle Jones received his early education in both Louisiana and Dallas, Texas. He has attended the Allstate Business College and Southern Bible Institute. Continuing his education, he received his Doctor of Divinity degree from Rialto Bible College in Dallas Texas. He is married to the Dr. Linda Jones and is the father of three daughters: Toni, Katricia and Jamiee.

Dr.Linda M. Jones is truly a dedicated woman of God and has a deep desire to work with women ’s ministry. She has become a mentor for women in various areas of ministry, in and outside of Truevine Holy Temple Church. She desires to reach the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Dr. Jones established the Women’s ministry group; (W.O.R.D) “Women of Righteous Destiny”. Throughout the past 40 years, Dr. Jones has worked very closely with her husband and pastor, Apostle J. A. Winans-Jones in every area of ministry. Dr. Jones is the first lady of Truevine Holy Temple Church in Dallas, Texas.
Dr. Jones established the Truevine Christian Day Care and Academy. The day care accepted age’s 0-4 years; the academy was from grades K-12. There was one High School graduate from the academy. In 1989, the church won the “Frederick Douglas Award” for outstanding community services.

Dr. Jones was licensed as a Minister of the gospel in the Full Gospel Pentecostal Association, Portland, Oregon. She was also ordained as a Minister of the gospel. Dr. Jones received her Doctoral degree in theology from Rialto Bible College. She is a mother to many in ministry and is called the "1st Lady of Full Gospel".

Dr. Linda M. Jones was born to the parents of Bernard and Iva Gill in Shreveport, Louisiana. Dr. Jones was educated in the Dallas Independent School District. Dr. Jones is a high school graduate of L. G. Pinkston High School, Dallas, Texas. She received an Associate degree from East Field Community College in Child Development. She continued her degree at North Texas State University in Denton, Texas.

Dr. Jones married Apostle James A. Jones in 1967. They have 3 daughters, Toni, Katricia and Jaimee. They have six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Dr. Linda M. Jones went home to be with the Lord...May 22, 2022. We are so grateful to the Lord for her being such a blessing to so many while in her service to the Lord and His Kingdom.
